“Heart of Dallas Young Professionals convene and engage the next generation of leaders in the Dallas sports and entertainment fields by connecting young professionals with one another and opportunities to fuel bold social change.”
Who are the Heart of Dallas Young Professionals (HODYP)?
The newly organized Heart of Dallas Young Professionals (HODYP) will become the face of Heart of Dallas, the nonprofit, as the group continues to grow and develop. HODYP is composed of young professionals ages 25-40 in the sports and entertainment industries throughout the Dallas area. This organization is committed to (1) provide professional development opportunities of interest to individuals in the sports and entertainment industries, and, (2) encourage a community focus that highlights initiatives in line with its parent nonprofit organization, Heart of Dallas.
What will being a member of HODYP look like?
Members will help mold and shape this group as it enters into the second full year of existence. Initially, the goal is to have an invite-only sports and entertainment member group of 100 members in year one. In order to host successful events, members will be asked to contribute $100 annually.
Programming Goal: 3 events per quarter geared towards professional and community development (For example, 1 Professional Development event (i.e. luncheon with industry leader), 1 Networking event (i.e. happy hour), 1 Community event (i.e. volunteer event)
